Specialized HIV Support for Individuals and Communities

The Outreach Services Office focuses on a holistic approach to sexual health and wellness through our flagship programs customized to meet the needs of our target demographic.

Our advanced outreach specialists focus their efforts on African Americans and those at high risk residing in metropolitan Phoenix through the provision of one-on-one interventions, group counseling, and HIV testing. We offer highly supportive services to persons living with HIV/AIDS through our Ryan White Part A/MAI Outreach with Medical and Non-Medical Case Management programs. These outreach services in Phoenix, Arizona, prioritize the whole person, developing self-esteem and self-efficacy in all of our clients through loving, supportive intervention.

What We Can Do
Our HIV Outreach Services currently offer three primary programs

  • At-Home HIV Testing is available free of charge. Test kits are currently in limited supply and are prioritized for those in greatest need based on predetermined demographics and risk factors.
  • EBAN is a 12-week HIV University-type program for newly diagnosed individuals to assist in learning the steps to access and maintain services such as medical case management, primary medical care, pharmaceutical acquisition assistance, housing services, nutrition assistance, and dental services.
  • Ryan White Part A Medical Case Management provides direct support to individuals living with HIV/AIDS through the coordination of medical care, the facilitation of access to ancillary services, and medication treatment adherence support.

Our Approach to Holistic Outreach

Our goal is to meet individuals where they are, physically and emotionally, with services that address the full spectrum of their health needs. We believe that healing begins with understanding and support, which is why our outreach combines education, counseling, medical access, and personal empowerment.

Each program is structured to reduce barriers to care and strengthen community connections. Whether through at-home testing or group counseling, we help participants access essential resources and feel seen, heard, and valued.

Our services include:

  • Free rapid HIV testing by appointment
  • Health Education and Risk Reduction Sessions
  • Outreach and Case Management to persons living with HIV/AIDS
  • Flow: Gender Identity Exploration through Creative Writing (*special workshop series)

Educational Resources:

“Funded in whole or in part by the Federal Department of Health and Human Services, Health Resources and Services Administration, the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Treatment Extension Act of 2009, and Maricopa County.”
